February 16th: Thom Evans is set to have a second operation on the neck injury he sustained in Scotland's dramatic 31-24 loss to Wales on Saturday. Scotland team doctor James Robson described the injury as "damage to one of the vertebra in his neck" with the surgery aimed at easing the bone back into position. Evans is expected to be up and about in a couple of weeks and will not doubt have to undergo intensive rehab to strengthen the neck and hopefully return to playing rugby again. A reminder of the perils of serious sporting injruy that rugby players face.
