Lions scrum-half returns from ankle injury

February 25th: Wales and Lions scrum-half Mike Phillips returns to competitive rugby tomorrow when Wales face France at the Millenium stadium. Phillips tore ankle ligaments in the Osprey's Heineken cup encounter with Clermont Auvergne four months ago and had to undergo surgery to repair the damage. He has played very little competitive rugby since and many have voiced surprise that Warren Gatland selected him in his matchday 22. Phillips insisted his fitness would not be an issue. "I'm very confident in my fitness and just really excited to be back in the squad and can't wait to be a part of it again".
