Injured England rugby pair unlikely to face Scots

March 8th: England's rugby team will probably be without Simon Shaw and Delon Armitage for their next match against Scotland on Saturday. Shaw injured his shoulder and Armitage injured ribs during England's 20-16 defeat by Ireland. "We will know more next week but it is likely, partricularly Simon, they will be out", claimed England manager Martin Johnson on Friday. Shaw had an MRI scan last week which showed that the damage was confined to the acromioclavicular joint. "Delon's injury is difficult to call when he will  be fit", added Johnson,"but he and Simon are progressing very well".
