Fabregas ruled out of Champion's League tie with hamstring injury

March 8th: Arsenal will be without their talismanic captain Cesc Fabregas for Tuesday's second leg Champion's League tie against Porto. Fabregas picked up the hamstring injury in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Burnley and did not train today. Arsenal trail Porto 2-1 from the first leg and manager Arsene Wenger said "we cannot take a gamble so he is not available". Fabregas missed three weeks with the same injury in December and a prolonged absence now at a pivotal stage of the season is likely to damage Arsenal's chances of pushing for honours at home and in Europe.
