England winger Ugo Monye aims to return for France game

March 16th: England winger Ugo Monye is hopeful of recovering in time for England's final Six Nation's game against France on Saturday. Monye was stretchered off against Scotland after clashing heads with Scotland's Kelly Brown. He was taken to hospital but X rays revealed no significant damage to either his head or neck. "I would love to be involved in the match with France and expect to take part in full contact sessions this week," Monye told the Evening Standard. He added "I had pain down the right side of my neck and pins and needles and I still have some of that in my right arm and will be working very closely with the England medical guys. The care I received at the ground and in the hospital was fantastic." Head injuries have been a feature of this Six Nations with Scotland's Thom Evans suffering a career-threatening neck injury in Scotland's dramatic game against Wales.
