Did you know that overuse injuries account for around 80% of all running injuries. Overuse injuries come about because of a rapid increase of training volume, running with poor biomechanics or equipment or even pre-existing medical issues.
The research suggests that most people training for a marathon will have to deal at least one of these during the training, which can seriously jeopardise that target time let alone being able to start the race.
If this sounds like you and you are booked in for a spring marathon, whether a first timer or a seasoned pro, why not deal with the little niggles before they potentially force you to stop training and endanger your race.
