Back Pain Physiotherapy

Many people who suffer from back pain tend to ignore the situation, and hope that it will eventually sort itself out. Unfortunately, this approach very rarely works and can even cause more serious damage. The best thing to do with persistent back pain is to see a relevant physiotherapist to help fix the problem.

Do I Need Back Pain Physiotherapy?

If you have been suffering with persistent back pain, then it is likely you will need to see a physiotherapist, to learn what has happened and how you can prevent the injury from returning. 80% of people will experience lower back pain at some point in their life, and will need a physiotherapist to help them through it.

How Can Back Pain Physiotherapy Help Me?

Your physiotherapist will first get to the root cause of your problem and set about reducing your pain with a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture and words of wisdom. Once we’ve dealt with the pain and got you moving again we’ll move onto the rehab that will help you combat your back pain and reduce the likelihood of it returning. Often back pain can be attributed to a traumatic incident, such as lifting something badly or an accident. Small tips like improving your posture and changing the chair you sit in at work can help, but specifically tailored exercises and stretches will be the main way you can combat your back pain.
