Are you Fit for Life? Find out at ESPH’s Open Day!

Exercise is now widely acknowledged as one of the most accessible, cost efficient and effective measures for preventing and managing a huge variety of conditions from depression to chronic pain. Doctors are increasingly being encouraged to prescribe it as an alternative to prescription medicine in some cases.

ESPH’s open day on Saturday 14th September is an opportunity to see how movement and exercise can help you get fit for life and live life to the full. Whether you’re a gym-phobic or an exercise junky our team of experts is here to help.

Throughout the morning, from 9:30am to 1:00pm, there are plenty of opportunities to try different exercise classes. See our timetable below for full details. If you have children that day, don’t worry we have a free creche service from 9:30 – 11:30, no booking necessary.

To help locate exactly where you are with your own health and fitness, ESPH experts will also be on hand with free health tests to discover how strong, balanced, flexible and fit you really are. These base measurements are a fantastic way to discover where your unique body needs improvement.

Learn about all the benefits of massage from our highly experienced therapists who are also providing free 15-minute massage taster sessions which can be booked at reception on the day.

Our physio team is also running FREE 15 minute appointments giving you the chance to chat through any concerns or issues you have.

ESPH prides itself on the in-depth knowledge and experience of its health and wellbeing professionals who will deliver talks on the following:

Managing Pain: Learn how to manage pain naturally with Gary Delahunt our Clinic Manager who is on hand to answer any questions you have.

Running injury free: Fred Manning, our in-house running expert and physio, provides insightful tips on how to improve technique, achieve better results and reduce injury.

Lower Back Health: Discover how to protect and strengthen your lower back with physio Nick Webb.

Pre and Post-Natal Exercise: Libby Sharp, ESPH founder and director, explains how to exercise safely through pregnancy and beyond

If you decide to become a member of ESPH at the open day, you will receive an additional one month’s free access to the gym. We are also offering two free sessions when you buy 10 across a range of services. Both offers are only available on the day.

ESPH has also launched a new teen/student membership which is available for ages 14-22. Children under 16 must have a parent member and adult supervision, those aged 16-18 don’t need a parent member or adult supervision and 18-22 year olds just need to show student ID. This membership will be available for £59 per month on a rolling contract.

Members who bring a friend who subsequently joins ESPH at the open day will receive one free month’s membership. Just talk to reception on the day.

Whether you are living with chronic pain or just want to get your mojo back, it is essential to understand how unique your body is. At the open day you will see how the ESPH holistic approach to health and wellbeing can take people from inactivity to total mobility and zest for life.

We build our philosophy on five pillars: cardio, strength, balance, stability and flexibility. If your exercise programme covers these five pillars, you can create a balanced lifestyle that will protect you from injury, keep you mobile and open a world of opportunities.

Don’t leave your health and wellbeing to chance, come to our open day and find out how you can get fit for life.
