She trained at St. Mary's and completed a Masters in Neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy. at University College London. Her clinic was founded in Camberwell in 1977 (relocating to Dulwich in 2007), and the second in Harley Street in 1989.
ESPH moved to 42 Harley Street to offer a dedicated pilates and fitness studio, featuring eGym equipment, alongside physiotherapy treatments, sports massage, dietetics, personal training and podiatry services. Workstation assessments also available.
A keen sportsman and fitness enthusiast, Max sits on the board of ukactive and is committed to improving the long-term health and wellbeing of all the communities in which his businesses operate.
Alexei manages the finances of the business and uses his extensive experience to develop the exercise services.
Returning to Ireland to complete a Masters in Sports Medicine in 2015, he has since worked in Dublin within private practice, for the Football Association of Ireland international football teams and for League of Ireland premier division football team, UCD.
Gary has a keen interest in biomechanical and muscle imbalances, shoulder conditions, plantar fasciitis, knee conditions and lower back conditions and uses a wide array of treatment options including; exercise, soft tissue release, dry needling, laser therapy, pilates, spinal and peripheral join manipulation and mobilisation, taping, nerve mobilisation and exercise load management to ensure concise all-round from acute phase through to end-stage rehabilitation.
Sport, both recreational and elite is one of Gary’s interests. Having played football, rugby, hurling, tennis and athletics from recreational to high level, he is a great believer that “doing something is better than doing nothing”, and translates this to his physiotherapy treatment.
She has always enjoyed being active and was on various sports teams through school. She is currently training for the London Landmarks Half Marathon and feels constantly motivated by the team at ESPH.

Kay has attended many post graduate courses to improve her knowledge and skills. More recently Kay has spent time teaching mat based Pilates and gained her fitness instructor qualification (ETM). She is currently working towards a qualification in fitness instruction for children. Being a mum of 2 she feels it is important to help young people keep moving and find interesting ways to exercise.
Kay is a keen runner and is a member of South London Harriers. So it is not surprising that the treatment of sporting injuries and injury prevention is an area of interest to her.
Nick is passionate about health and fitness. He previously played squash at a high level and still attends the gym regularly.
Fred began working as a Senior Physiotherapist in an outpatient clinic setting before moving to a private practice in central London treating a wide range of patients and conditions alongside working privately with a couple of athletics and triathlon clubs treating both casual participants and national level athletes. He has attended and completed a number of courses relevant to his profession to further extend his practice. He is a fully trained member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and incorporates this into his practice.
Fred has enjoyed joining the ESPH team and using the amazing facilities to help rehabilitate his clients and is enjoying putting his love of sport to use by working with various sports teams affiliated with the ESPH practice.
Clinical Interests: Sports injury management and rehabilitation of all kinds with a keen interest in lower limb injuries around the foot/ankle and knee from running, cycling and multi-sport events. Taking patients from the early stages of injury and returning them to their desired functional/sporting level. Biomechanical assessment of activity and re-education.
Personal Hobbies: Away from work he is a keen sportsman himself, spectating and taking part in everything from cricket to climbing. He has completed ultra-marathons, marathons, half Ironmans, represented Great Britain at age group level in Duathlon at the European championships and completed a number of sportive races for charity on the bike. He is also currently learning French from his Bordelaise wife and visits France and other European countries regularly.
Outside of ESPH, Anthony has worked as a sports massage therapist for Leatherhead FC. As an avid football fan, he plays semi-professionally in his spare time, supporting Dulwich Hamlet FC for many years. You may see him take to the pitch at the weekends as he is currently a massage therapist for Crystal Palace FC.
He also loves to travel and hops on a plane to adventures new whenever time allows.
Lydia's classes focus on engaging key muscle groups with intrinsic, low impact ballet based movement which aim to lengthen and strengthen the body.
"Elite competitive sport has given me plenty of discipline. I believe in hard work but with plenty of rewards and you have to see and feel the improvements to keep coming back. What you want to achieve is in your hands - just show up! It's a journey and I believe in your health first but you can have your cake...as long as you come to ESPH regularly."
